Admission

Eligibility for Admission:

Candidates who have passed SSC and HSC examination in science group with physics, chemistry and Biology from any recognized Board/ University of Bangladesh with a total grade point average of 8.00 by both the examinations. But, the grade average for each of the exams must not be less than 3.50 and in HSC grade point in Biology must not be less than 3.00. Students having O level and A level qualifications should apply with certificate of equivalence issued from the competent authority of Director General of Health service, Govt. of the peoples’ republic of Bangladesh. The students who passed SSC or equivalent examination 02 sessions before are not eligible to apply for the admission test. Married students are not eligible to apply for admission.

Documents to be submitted by the candidate:

All enclosures must be attested by first class Gazette Officer:

  • Photocopy of original/provisional SSC & HSC/equivalent examination certificates.
  • Photocopy of original/provisional SSC & HSC/equivalent examination marks sheets.
  • Photocopy of original/provisional SSC & HSC/equivalent examination Testimonial.
  • Certificate of sports/social work or any other extra curricular activities.
  • Three Copies of recent passport size photographs.
  • A character certificate from the head of the institution in which the candidate studied last.

*Original copies of the documents must be produced at the time of admission and all the original documents shall be retained by the college until graduating from the college.

Selection of Candidate:

  • Written test according to current syllabus of HSC course will be held in MCQ system and this examination will include physics, Biology, English & General Knowledge.
  • The interested candidates will have to submit their applications within the time schedules for admission in the advertisement published in the national daily newspapers.
  • The students will be selected as per merit position, Final merit position will be scored as:

After first selection according to merit list a waiting list will be declared. Students from waiting list will be admitted as per vacancies according to waiting merit list.

  • Result of the final selection will be published in the specified notice board.
  • Every applicant provisionally selected for admission shall be medically examined by a medical board and must be declared fit before admission.

Information for the foreign students:

  • Photocopy of original/provisional SSC & HSC/equivalent examination certificates.
  • Photocopy of original/provisional SSC & HSC/equivalent examination marks sheets.
  • Photocopy of original/provisional SSC & HSC/equivalent examination Testimonial.
  • Three Copies of recent passport size photographs.
  • A character certificate from the head of the institution in which the candidate studied last.
  • Photocopy of the valid passport.
  • No objection certificate from the Foreign Ministry of the respective country.

*All the papers have to be attested by the candidate’s Foreign Ministry. Then, they should be submitted to the respective Bangladeshi High Commission/ Embassy. Bangladeshi High Commission, then, will submit the papers to Director of Health Services (DGHS). DGHS will contact the Foreign Ministry for Bangladesh and take necessary measures. DGHS will charge $50 as processing fee.

** Interested candidates will have to mention the name of the medical college while applying.

*** DGHS and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for Bangladesh will verify all the papers and send the list of selected candidates to the Foreign Ministry for Bangladesh and the respective Bangladeshi High Commission/ Embassies. Students have to keep their eyes open for the published list of selected candidates. Any information found false/ misleading will lead to the cancellation of the admission process, before or after the admission.

For any withdrawal/transfer after 15 days from the date of admission, US $ 6,000/- will be deducted from the 1st installment by the college authority.
